KÖLN – MÜLLHEIM

A very demanding and large project, for which we were chosen by customer based on our references and experience. The almost 800-meter-long bridge was included in the list of high-risk objects and required an immediate inspection down to the smallest detail with the help of laser scanning. The complexity was not only in the requirements for accuracy (1-2 mm), but the structure of the bridge from the sixties of the twentieth century was especially demanding. As the bridge was above the water, there was no good access from the ground and a bridge crane had to be used. In total, we managed data collection within six days, and then almost 10 TB of data were processed within 1.5 months.
